Our clinic team provides Driver Medicals to support whānau in meeting NZTA requirements for safe driving.
A Driver Medical may be required for whānau with a medical condition that could affect safe driving, or when aged 75 years or older.

Whānau can access these clinical services by making a booking via the MyIndici app, by phone, by email, or by visiting reception.
Some services may only be available for enrolled whānau.

Fees for these clinical services vary depending on the service and whether whānau hold a Community Services Card (CSC).
● Driver Medicals: $40.00 (with CSC) / $50.00 (without CSC)

A Driver Medical may be required for whānau who:
● Have a medical condition that could affect safe driving
● Are aged 75 years or older
● Are applying for or renewing certain licence classes, such as heavy vehicle licences (classes 2, 3, 4, or 5)
● Are applying for or renewing certain endorsements, such as passenger or driving instructor licences
● Have been asked by NZTA or a hauora provider to complete a medical certificate
● Have new or worsening health conditions that may affect safe driving
