Clinical Services FAQs

We’ve gathered the most common pātai (questions) from our whānau to help you find answers quickly.

You can fill in our pre-registration form online or grab an enrolment form from one of our clinics. Please note: Completing the form does not guarantee enrolment.

If your enrolment proceeds, we will ask for two forms of ID (for example, Passport, Driver Licence, Birth Certificate, or 18+ Card), as required by the Ministry of Health to verify eligibility.

One of our kaimahi will contact you within a few working days to discuss the next steps or provide further support if needed.

All new enrolments are required to pay a registration fee:

Adults (18+):
● With CSC: $39.00
● Without CSC: $59.00

14–17 years:
● $26.00

13 years and under:
● FREE

*Community Services Card (CSC)

Most of our community services are free if you’re eligible. Some of our clinical services may also be funded.

You can easily book an appointment in a way that works best for you:
Through the MyIndici App — set up your appointment anytime from your phone.
Call our reception team on 0800 114 900 — they’ll be happy to help you find a suitable time.
Visit our reception in person — pop in and our kaimahi can help you book an appointment.

We offer an Acute Walk-In Clinic for enrolled patients at Tauranga Moana City GP Clinic (11 Tebbs Lane, Gate Pā, Tauranga), Monday to Friday from 1.00pm – 3.00pm.

This clinic is for enrolled whānau experiencing sudden or severe symptoms and is limited to one problem per consultation.

The Acute Walk-In Clinic is available for:
● New medical problems
● New accidents
● Unwell tamariki

This service does not cover chronic or ongoing conditions, repeat prescriptions, WINZ or ACC forms, sutures, or fractures.

All other services are available by booked appointment only.

Please allow up to 72 hours (3 working days) for repeat prescriptions to be processed.

Repeat prescriptions can be ordered through your patient portal (MyIndici App).

From February 2026, some whānau may be eligible for longer prescriptions (up to 12 months) for stable, long-term conditions. This is not automatic and requires a consultation with your tākuta (GP). Approval is at the discretion of the prescriber.

Te Akau Hauora GP Clinic:
