Our Ūkaipō is a breastfeeding specialist (IBCLC), registered nēhi and Well Child Tamariki Ora nēhi.
She provides free waiū (breastfeeding) support and education for māmā and whānau, from hapūtanga (pregnancy) through to weaning, helping whānau achieve their unique breastfeeding goals.
Support and education includes:
Appointments can be done at home, through a booked clinic, drop-in clinic, virtually, or at our Māmā and Pēpi Hub.
Kaiāwhina support whānau (māmā, pāpā, nanny, koro, and anyone else who helps pēpi thrive) to realise and achieve their aspirations.
Using our unique Tūāpapa model of care, Kaiāwhina guide and walk alongside whānau to achieve their goals, as well as suggest different services to help support this process.

Located at the Māmā Pēpi Hub in Te Akau, Pāpāmoa, our kaimahi deliver free wānanga tailored to the goals and aspirations of our enrolled whānau.
